FC Ibach: Stability, investments and strong young talent in focus!

On July 6, 2025, the 71st ordinary general meeting of FC Ibach took place in the Rose Restaurant. President Ralph Gwerder welcomed 80 voting members who learned about the topics of stability, solid finances and major investment projects. In his annual report, Gwerder looked back on an intensive season and particularly highlighted the strong performances in the junior division. Thanks went to the coaches, supervisors and volunteers who worked tirelessly for the club.

The first team was able to stay in the 2nd Inter League last season, which was set as a goal for the season. Treasurer Lukas Heinzer presented a positive financial statement, even though the costs were high. The auditors recommended adoption of the bill, and the assembly agreed unanimously. The board received great applause for its work and was discharged by the members.

Positive developments and elections

Sports director Sandro Meier and junior chairman Michael Blersch also reported positive developments. The growing number of juniors shows the club's commitment to social responsibility. During the elections, Vice President Armin Reichlin, Head of Events Dario Betschart, Junior Chairman Michael Blersch and Treasurer Lukas Heinzer were unanimously confirmed in their positions.

President Gwerder also gave an outlook on the coming season. A particular focus is on the sustainable promotion of young talent. The main playing field in the Gerbihof is to be completely renovated, while the first team will temporarily play its home games in Wintersried. Gwerder appealed to members to take care of the playing field and thanked sponsors, patrons, members and fans for their support.

Infrastructure projects and future investments

The club plans to continue investing in its infrastructure in the future. Renovation work in Grabachern and a conversion to LED lighting have already been successfully completed. These projects are part of a broader strategy to renew the club's infrastructure. The focus is on further improving the framework conditions for the sporting development of the members, which also reflects the club's social responsibility bote.ch notes.

The official meeting ended with a shared dinner where those present discussed the past and upcoming seasons in a convivial atmosphere.
