Stock market: SDAX falls by 1.86 percent
There is currently a slight decline in sentiment in the SDAX on the stock market. The price barometer recorded a decline of 1.86 percent and now stands at 13,993 points. Investors on the German stock exchanges seem to be less keen to buy at the moment.
However, some stocks are showing positive developments. The securities of Adtran, Dräger and Thyssenkrupp Nucera are currently recording price increases. Adtran shares in particular stand out as they have increased in value by 0.96 percent. The share is currently trading at 4.40 euros. Likewise, Dräger's preferred shares increased by 0.60 percent and are trading at a price of 50.40 euros. Thyssenkrupp Nucera is also in the black with a share price increase of 0.49 percent and a current price of 12.36 euros.
On the other hand, there are also losers of the trading day in the SDAX. The shares of Varta, Salzgitter and Deutz have lost value. The decline is particularly noticeable at Varta, whose shares fell by 10.46 percent to 8.00 euros. The shares of Salzgitter and Deutz are also affected with losses of 7.57 percent and 6.23 percent, respectively.
Today's loss has a slight impact on the overall positive balance of the SDAX for the current year, with the development since the beginning of the year being 0.23 percent. The SDAX is a stock index from Deutsche Börse that focuses on smaller stocks from the Prime Standard. The index includes a total of 50 stocks from companies from classic industries that follow the shares in the MDAX in terms of market capitalization and stock exchange turnover.
