On yesterday's trading day, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange recorded losses that impacted the German stock market. The DAX was predominantly dominated by negative developments, with Deutsche Börse stocks standing out as the only winners with an increase of 0.6 percent. This often results from increased trading activity during turbulent market phases.

The leading European indices also showed a downward trend. The EuroStoxx 50, the French Cac 40 and the British FTSE 100 each recorded declines of around one percent. In contrast, New York's Dow Jones Industrial gained 0.9 percent by the close of trading in Europe.

The euro depreciated against the US dollar, with the European Central Bank setting the reference rate at $1.0841. Therefore, one dollar was equal to 0.9224 euros.

On the bond market, the current yield fell from 2.41 percent the day before to 2.40 percent. The Rex bond index rose slightly by 0.04 percent to 125.23 points, while the Bund future fell by 0.60 percent to 132.2 points.
