According to a report by m.ariva.de, the TecDAX index is currently recording slight price gains, which can be attributed to the positive sentiment of private and institutional investors on the German stock market. The index rose by 1.21 percent to 3,389 points.

The securities from MorphoSys, Qiagen NV and Evotec currently lead the index rankings, with the biggest increase being recorded by the MorphoSys security. The share price rose by 13.17 percent, while investors are currently paying 64.96 euros for the paper on the stock exchange. MorphoSys AG is engaged in the discovery, development and marketing of therapeutic antibodies and has focused on the treatment of cancer and autoimmune diseases in the USA. Qiagen NV shares also recorded a price increase of 6.06 percent to 41.94 euros, while Evotec shares rose by 5.17 percent to 13.94 euros.

The losers of the trading day

At the end of the TecDAX price list are currently the stocks from Infineon, Aixtron and Freenet. Infineon recorded a price decline of 3.42 percent to 33.47 euros, followed by Aixtron with a decline of 2.74 percent to 32.68 euros and Freenet with a discount of 1.78 percent to 24.28 euros.

So far the TecDAX index has gained 1.54 percent this year. The 30 technology stocks that follow the 40 DAX companies in terms of market capitalization and stock exchange turnover are included in the TecDAX by Deutsche Börse.
