NASDAQ 100 remains stable: This is how the index is developing
The NASDAQ 100 remains unchanged at midday on April 24, 2024 and is cautious on the third day of the week. In NASDAQ trading, the index reached 17,471.33 points and remained stable. At the start of trading, the NASDAQ 100 was at 17,613.66 points, which corresponded to an increase of 0.814 percent compared to the previous day. The day's low was recorded at 17,470.39 points while the high was 17,653.66 points.
Since the beginning of the week, the NASDAQ 100 has recorded an increase of 1.81 percent. Over the course of 2024, the index rose by 5.61 percent and reached an annual high of 18,464.70 points. The low for the year was set at 16,249.19 points. A year ago, on April 24, 2023, the NASDAQ 100 was at 12,969.76 points.
The current winners in the NASDAQ 100 are Tesla (+12.12 percent), CoStar Group (+7.59 percent), ON Semiconductor (+5.22 percent), Microchip Technology (+4.66 percent) and Analog Devices (+4.33 percent). Losers include Old Dominion Freight Line, Netflix, Enphase Energy, CSX and Illumina. Tesla stock has the highest trading volume in the NASDAQ 100.
Fundamental metrics show that Walgreens Boots Alliance stock has the lowest price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio and highest dividend yield in the index. Overall, trading remains steady on the day with no significant moves in the NASDAQ 100.
