Nasdaq 100: Mixed development on the stock market
On the stock market, the Nasdaq 100 currently has no clear direction, with a minimal decline of 0.37 percent. The index stands at 17,462 points. The leading position in the price list is occupied by AstraZeneca plc, Keurig Dr Pepper and Marvell Technology Group. AstraZeneca plc recorded the largest price gain with an increase of 5.70 percent and is currently valued at $75.26. The company focuses on the development and marketing of prescription drugs.
Keurig Dr Pepper shares are also gaining in value, with an increase of 4.48 percent and a current price of $33.79. Marvell Technology Group also increased its value by 4.47 percent and is trading at $67.75. On the other hand, Meta Platforms, Comcast and Sirius
The Nasdaq 100 has shown a sideways movement since the beginning of the year and recorded an increase of 3.25 percent. The New York Stock Exchange's technology and growth index, the Nasdaq 100 includes the 100 largest stocks selected by market capitalization. Financial stocks are excluded from inclusion in the index and the index is calculated solely on the basis of share prices without taking dividend payments into account.
