Nasdaq 100 with slight losses - Current stock developments on April 19, 2024

The Nasdaq 100 index posted slight losses in stock trading so far today. The price barometer fell by 2.12 percent and is now at 17,025 points. Both private and institutional investors on the stock market are showing a slightly pessimistic mood. Stocks currently poised to gain include Walgreens Boots Alliance, Autodesk and Exelon. Walgreens Boots Alliance had the largest increase in value, up 2.93 percent. Autodesk and Exelon also posted gains of 2.54 percent and 2.44 percent, respectively.

On the other hand, Nvidia, Netflix and AMD Advanced Micro Devices stand out negatively. Nvidia recorded a loss of 9.35 percent, followed by Netflix with a loss of 9.13 percent and AMD Advanced Micro Devices with a discount of 5.76 percent. These losses contribute to the worsening performance of the Nasdaq 100 for the current year, with a year-to-date performance of 0.60 percent.
