The STOXX 50 showed a rise in afternoon trading. At 3:41 p.m., the index recorded an increase of 0.88 percent to 4,414.99 points. At the start of Friday trading, the STOXX 50 was at 4,381.83 points, an increase of 0.121 percent compared to the previous day at 4,376.55 points. The index peaked at 4,415.81 units while the lowest point was 4,381.83 points.

Since the beginning of the week, the STOXX 50 has recorded an increase of 1.90 percent. One month ago the index was at 4,408.96 points, three months ago at 4,193.32 points and a year ago at 4,025.90 points. In 2024, the index recorded an increase of 7.89 percent, with a high of 4,462.29 points and a low of 4,010.21 points.

Among the winners in the STOXX 50 are SAP SE, DHL Group, Rio Tinto, Reckitt Benckiser and Siemens, while BASF, Münchener Rückversicherungs-Gesellschaft, Zurich Insurance, AstraZeneca and Novartis were among the losers.
