TecDAX: development and shares at a glance
The TecDAX started the trading day on April 17, 2024 weaker, with a decline of 0.38 percent to 3,279.75 points in XETRA trading at 9:11 a.m. The members of the TecDAX achieved a market capitalization of 508.295 billion euros. At the start of trading on Wednesday, the index recorded a loss of 0.030 percent compared to the previous day.
The highest level of the TecDAX on that day was 3,291.22 points, while the lowest level of the index was 3,271.03 points. On a weekly basis, the TecDAX has so far recorded a loss of 1.38 percent. A month ago the TecDAX was at a value of 3,379.68 points. Three months ago, the index was calculated at 3,224.62 points, while a year ago, on April 17, 2023, it was at 3,321.21 points.
Since the beginning of 2024, the index has recorded a decline of 1.35 percent. The annual high of the TecDAX was 3,490.44 points, while the annual low was 3,187.26 points. Regarding the currently strongest stocks in the TecDAX, PNE, freenet, Eckert Ziegler Strahl- und Medizintechnik, MorphoSys and Deutsche Telekom recorded gains, while AIXTRON SE, ATOSS Software, HENSOLDT, EVOTEC SE and Nordex recorded losses.
The Deutsche Telekom share had the largest trading volume in the TecDAX, while the SAP SE share recorded the highest market capitalization in the index. When it comes to dividend yields and price-earnings ratios, FactSet estimates identified certain stocks in the TecDAX as particularly strong or weak.
