TecDAX in the red: Negative development after positive trading the previous day
The TecDAX started the trading day in the red after recording positive developments the day before. At the start of trading, the TecDAX was 0.06 percent weaker in XETRA trading at 3,324.16 points. The index reached an intraday low of 3,323.47 units and recorded its intraday high of 3,331.27 points.
In terms of performance since the beginning of the year, the TecDAX had a price of 3,379.68 points on March 15, 2024. Three months ago the index was at 3,254.45 points and a year ago trading on XETRA was suspended. On the previous trading day the value was 3,315.81 points. Since the beginning of 2024, the index has already fallen by 0.013 percent, with the annual high being 3,490.44 points and the annual low being 3,187.26 points.
The top stocks in the TecDAX currently include companies such as HENSOLDT, Infineon, Eckert Ziegler Strahl- und Medizintechnik, Kontron and SUSS MicroTec SE, while Nordex, EVOTEC SE, CANCOM SE, SMA Solar and United Internet are among the flop stocks. The Deutsche Telekom share stands out with the largest trading volume, while the SAP SE share has the highest market value in the TecDAX.
In terms of fundamental metrics, United Internet shares have the lowest price-earnings ratio in the TecDAX, while freenet shares are expected to offer the highest dividend yield. According to FactSet estimates, the P/E ratio of United Internet shares for 2024 is 10.72 and the dividend yield of freenet shares is expected to be 7.05 percent.
