TecDAX hardly changed: Siltronic convinces, Evotec weakens (98 characters)

The TecDAX is currently in sideways mode, with price losses and price gains being almost in balance. The stock market barometer only recorded an increase of 0.13 percent and thus stands at 3,394 points. Bears and bulls are shaping what is happening on the stock market at the moment.

Some stocks in the index are currently seeing gains, including Siltronic, Deutsche Telekom and Atoss Software. In particular, the Siltronic security recorded the largest price increase at 2.22 percent and a current price of 80.70 euros. Siltronic AG offers high-purity semiconductor silicon wafers in various regions. Shares of Deutsche Telekom and Atoss Software also rose, with increases of 1.80 percent and 1.57 percent, respectively.

In contrast, there are companies such as Evotec, Aixtron and Sartorius, whose shares have shown negative price developments. In particular, Evotec's security recorded a loss of 5.07 percent and is currently at 13.66 euros. Aixtron and Sartorius also lost value, down 3.35 percent and 2.56 percent respectively.

Despite the current fluctuations, the TecDAX has gained a total of 1.69 percent since the beginning of the year. The index includes companies from the technology sector that rank behind the 40 DAX stocks in terms of market capitalization and order turnover. The TecDAX was introduced in 2003 after Deutsche Börse dissolved the “Neuer Markt” market segment for technology companies.
