TecDAX rises by 0.61 percent: These winners and losers dominate the trading day

The demand for Süss MicroTec has helped the TecDAX index to perform positively in stock trading so far. The price barometer rose by 0.61 percent, causing the index to climb to 3,347 points. Private and institutional investors are currently in a buying mood on the local stock market.

The shares of Süss MicroTec, Eckert&Ziegler and Nemetschek have developed particularly positively. Süss MicroTec recorded a price increase of 2.58 percent and is currently at 39.70 euros per security. Eckert&Ziegler and Nemetschek also recorded price increases. Eckert&Ziegler is up 2.56 percent at a price of 35.28 euros, while Nemetschek recorded a price increase of 1.99 percent and is currently trading at 86.95 euros.

In contrast, the papers from SMA Solar Technology, CompuGroup Medical KGaA and EnergieKontor are at the bottom of the TecDAX rankings. SMA Solar Technology lost 2.44 percent and is currently trading at 47.98 euros. CompuGroup Medical KGaA has recorded a loss in value of 1.57 percent and is trading at EUR 30.10. EnergieKontor also recorded a decline of 1.41 percent and is at 63.10 euros.

The TecDAX has had a positive balance since the beginning of the year with a performance of 0.28 percent. This index was introduced in 2003 after Deutsche Börse dissolved the “Neuer Markt” market segment for technology companies and stopped calculating the NEMAX 50 index. The TecDAX includes companies primarily from the technology industry and follows the 40 DAX stocks in terms of market capitalization and order turnover.
