Varta: Biggest loser in the SDAX - price falls by 32.39 percent

The German stock market is currently seeing a decline in the SDAX index of 1.02 percent. The index is trading at 14,354 points, which is a worse value compared to the previous day. The shares of Synlab, KSB+COKGAA and Grand City Properties SA are currently among the top stocks in the SDAX. The Synlab share recorded the greatest increase in value with a price increase of 4.54 percent.

In contrast, at the bottom of the price list are the shares of Varta, ProSiebenSat1 Media and SCHOTT Pharma. Varta recorded the largest loss with a loss of 32.39 percent, followed by ProSiebenSat1 Media with a loss of 6.52 percent and SCHOTT Pharma with a loss of 4.19 percent.

The current loss affects the SDAX's balance sheet for the current calendar year, which has improved by 2.82 percent since the beginning of January. The SDAX includes a total of 50 stocks from companies that operate in classic industries and follow the shares in the MDAX in terms of market capitalization and stock exchange turnover.
