Barclays Capital confirms overweight rating for Deutsche Telekom shares

The British investment bank Barclays has left the rating for Deutsche Telekom shares at “Overweight” before the publication of figures. The price target was set at 29.50 euros. In his report, analyst Mathieu Robilliard revised the telecommunications company's first-quarter estimates, particularly in light of changes at subsidiary T-Mobile US due to exchange rate movements and market trends.

Deutsche Telekom shares recorded an increase of 1.1 percent in XETRA trading. This means that there is still a leeway of 37.85 percent until the specified price target. To date, 1,166,932 Deutsche Telekom shares have been traded. Since the beginning of 2024, the share price has risen by 1.9 percent. The financial results for the first quarter of 2024 are expected to be presented on May 16, 2024.

The analysis was published by Barclays Capital, with the original report issued on 04/19/2024 at 06:10 GMT. No conflicts of interest related to the analysis were disclosed. Deutsche Telekom shares remain a focus of investors and analysts who are eagerly awaiting the coming quarterly results.
