DeutschlandID: The future of digital identity in Germany!
The introduction of the DeutschlandID is imminent, which will function as the successor to the BundID. The EUDI wallet will be subject to strict data protection requirements in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and must meet the highest security requirements according to eIDAS certification. Users' personal evidence is stored in a protected environment on mobile devices, allowing users to control their data and decide what information they share. The principle of data minimization ensures that only necessary information is passed on.
