PARETO GmbH, an established project developer on the regional real estate market in the Rhineland, is looking for a department manager for balance sheets, controlling and finance (m/f/d) in Cologne. The company, which has been operating for over 25 years, specializes in the development and new construction of high-quality properties. Other areas of activity include the conception and development of new building land as well as the revitalization of existing areas. PARETO GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kreissparkasse Köln and plays an important role in the regional real estate landscape.

The advertised position includes the independent control and handling of all commercial tasks within the project companies. The new division manager will be responsible for managing commercial processes as well as finance, accounting and tax. In addition, the creation of sustainable financing and liquidity planning for all project companies is one of the core tasks. Other essential points include responsibility for preparing the annual financial statements and management reports as well as ensuring tax compliance in collaboration with tax advisors and auditors.

Demanding requirement profile

To be considered for the position, a degree in economics or comparable training is required. Applicants should also have several years of specialist and management experience in the real estate industry. Sound knowledge of finance and accounting as well as tax law and accounting are also required.
