Melina Marty: New Head of the Finance Office from December 2025!
Melina Marty was elected as the new head of the Finance Office. She is scheduled to take office on December 1, 2025. She succeeds Michael Bissig, who has previously headed the office. The government council congratulated her on this appointment and wishes her much success in her new role.
The Swiss national, born in 1988, lives in Bürglen, has earned an excellent reputation through her many years of experience in the financial sector. Marty received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting & Controlling from the Lucerne University of Economics in 2011. Five years later, she completed her part-time training as a federally qualified auditor and previously worked at KPMG AG for six years, where she looked after national and international companies as well as listed companies, among other things.
Career at Andermatt Swiss Alps AG
Since moving to Andermatt Swiss Alps AG in 2017, Marty's career has developed rapidly. She started as a financial controller and took over the management of controlling and accounting just one year later. In January 2019, she was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of the Andermatt Swiss Alps Group and has been a member of the management board since 2019. These achievements highlight their extensive expertise and ability to fill leadership positions.
The combination of solid training, practical experience and leadership qualities make Melina Marty an ideal choice for the new role. Her leisure interests, which include jogging, cycling, mountaineering, ski touring and cross-country skiing, reflect her active lifestyle.
