Musk attacks Trump's tax law: An appeal against failures!

Elon Musk said loudly t online has spoken out strongly against the tax and spending bill supported by Donald Trump, which he has described as a “disgusting abomination.” On the online platform X, Musk expressed concerns that the law would lead to an increase in the budget deficit and national debt.

The law in question, which Trump touted as a “big, beautiful law,” was passed by a narrow majority in the House of Representatives in May. In the Senate, however, there is resistance from several members of the Republican Party to the proposed increase in the debt ceiling and the required spending cuts.

Criticism of social cuts

The measures in the law provide, among other things, for the permanent extension of tax relief from Trump's first term in office, which is to be financed through cuts in social benefits. Democratic Senator Bernie Sanders supported Musk in his criticism, pointing out that while these tax breaks benefit the wealthiest Americans, they also cut funding for feeding those in need.

Interestingly, Musk had previously criticized the law in more reserved terms. He expressed his disappointment at the Doge committee's undermining of cuts.

Although Musk donated more than $250 million to Trump's campaign and was at times considered a close confidant of the president, his current course shows a waning influence in Trump's environment. When he left Washington, he also cited a rule that limits contracts for outside government employees to 130 days per year.

Regulations and support for Trump

In addition to his criticism of the tax law, Musk is actively campaigning for Trump, focusing on government overregulation and the expansion of American companies. Loud Fox News Musk officially endorsed Trump over the summer, especially after Trump survived an assassination attempt. The entrepreneur is currently working in Pennsylvania to increase voter participation.

In his remarks, Musk also criticized the government's excessive regulation and shared anecdotes about SpaceX's experiences with regulatory requirements. Among other things, he recounted a twisty story in which SpaceX was "forced to kidnap seals" to conduct a study of the sounds of supersonic flight.

Musk also pointed to a $140,000 fine SpaceX received from the EPA for using potable water to cool a launch pad and questioned the need for a permitting process for fresh water. He argues that such regulatory problems are slowing innovation and industrial growth in America.

Musk's political ambitions and his influence over Pennsylvania voters are causing concern among Democrats. Senator John Fetterman warned his party colleagues that Musk could appear to voters as an attractive figure, similar to “Tony Stark”.
