The municipality of Neuberg has made an important new appointment in the finance department. Dennis Eichinger was hired as the new clerk and started work on June 1, 2025. Eichinger brings extensive experience in the area of municipal finance, having previously worked as a clerk in Ranstadt. There he focused on finances.
Before moving to Ranstadt, Eichinger worked in various positions at the Nidderau city council. These included, among other things, the specialist service for taxes and duties as well as the acting deputy head of the finance department during parental leave. He completed his training as an administrative assistant with the city of Nidderau and also trained as a “municipal accountant”.
Positive expectations
Mayor Jörn Schachtner was extremely positive about Eichinger's short-term reinforcement in the finance department. The municipality of Neuberg is confident that this new addition will have a successful start and looks forward to close cooperation.

Financial structure of the community
The administrative budget includes essential aspects such as personnel costs, management and maintenance expenses, ongoing subsidies as well as tax and fee income and expenses. The asset budget, on the other hand, focuses on investments by the municipality, building and civil engineering measures and land acquisition.
The budget for 2025 has a total volume of 82,584,400 euros, of which 65,077,550 euros relate to the administrative budget and 17,506,850 euros to the asset budget. Furthermore, the assessment rates for property and trade taxes are relevant for the municipality's financial planning: The trade tax assessment rate is 280 percent, while the assessment rates for property taxes A and B are 460 percent and 370 percent, as set out in the corresponding assessment rate statute.
