The municipality of Rehetobel is planning to build a new two-story parking deck and multifunctional sports fields in order to counteract the shortage of parking spaces in the village center and the need for sports facilities. These measures are of great importance for the community as many front gardens have already been converted into parking spaces and the existing parking spaces are not sufficient to meet the growing demands. Construction on the project is scheduled to begin next summer. The parking deck will be built near a multi-purpose building. However, there are currently no plans for a roof for the new sports field. If construction starts successfully, the parking deck could be used as early as 2026.
Sports fields and leisure activities

There is also a climbing wall and an all-purpose room that can function as a kiosk. The estimated project costs amount to 3.1 million francs, with the investment requirement for the municipality being 1.38 million francs.
