In XETRA trading on Thursday, the SDAX recorded a decline of 0.56% and closed at 15,215.67 points. A previous loss of 0.228% at the start of trading resulted in an opening level of 15,266.39 points. The previous day's closing price was 15,301.21 points. During trading, the SDAX reached a daily high of 15,312.75 points, but also fell to a daily low of 15,158.13 points. This development results in a weekly decline of 2.87% for the index. A look at the development of the SDAX shows that the index was trading at 14,794.69 points a month ago, 14,069.63 points three months ago and 14,002.95 points a year ago. Since the beginning of 2025, the SDAX has increased by 9.57%, with an annual high of 15,847.54 points and an annual low of 13,599.16 points, as finanzen.ch reported.
The winning shares in the SDAX are as follows: SMA Solar recorded an increase of 8.32% to EUR 20.84, followed by Mutares with +6.35% to EUR 32.65 and Klöckner with +6.29% to EUR 7.27. Among the loser stocks, GRENKE fell sharply by 18.81% to EUR 13.90, while Sixt SE St fell by 4.77% to EUR 79.85 and VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie fell by 4.27% to EUR 9.20. RENK, with a trading volume of 1,619,771 shares, remains the most expensive stock in the SDAX, while DWS Group GmbH remains the largest in the index with a market capitalization of 9.376 billion euros. The lowest price-to-earnings ratio (P/E) of 5.22 is achieved by Mutares, while Schaeffler has the highest dividend yield of 8.46%, reported boerse.de.
