The financial situation of the municipalities in Baden-Württemberg has worsened dramatically, as current tax estimates show. These developments are the result of comprehensive analyzes that the “Tax Estimates” working group regularly carries out. The estimates, which are prepared twice a year, usually in May and November, take into account a variety of factors, including expected gross domestic product developments and actual tax revenues in previous years. This working group is made up of experts from the Federal Ministry of Finance, the finance ministries of the federal states, municipal associations and other institutions in order to create a precise forecast. Elsewhere in Baden-Württemberg, precisely in Mannheim, several thousand Galatasaray Istanbul fans peacefully celebrated their 3-0 win against Kayserispor. The 36-year-old man and his passenger were seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to a clinic. The sports car, which is considered a total loss with damage of around 120,000 euros, burned down completely after the incident. Interestingly, there is no speed limit at this accident site.
In another worrying report, the perpetrator of the Göppingen shooting that took place last Saturday remains at large. The investigation is in full swing to bring those responsible to justice.
