UBS AG lowers price target for Bayer shares: Uncertainties burden - analysis shows details
UBS AG has carried out an in-depth review of Bayer shares. The major Swiss bank has lowered the price target for Bayer from 34 to 32 euros due to increased uncertainty regarding the US legal disputes. The rating remained at “Neutral”. Analyst Jo Walton mentioned in the study that these uncertainties in the company's agrochemical segment will continue to weigh on the stock and are likely to be reflected in a higher valuation discount. On the day of the analysis, Bayer shares rose by 0.9 percent to EUR 27.26 in XETRA trading. This means that the shareholding still has room for growth of 17.39 percent compared to the current price target. During the day so far, 2,089,202 Bayer shares have been traded. Compared to 2024, the share recorded a decline of 18.9 percent. The quarterly key figures for Q1 2024 are expected to be published on May 14, 2024.
