The reasons for the satisfaction of property owners in the Kleve district - a survey reveals.
According to a report from www.nrz.de, over 80 percent of owners in the Kleve district enjoy living in their property. Satisfaction varies depending on age and municipality.
As part of a representative survey in collaboration with the University of Duisburg-Essen, we examined which factors are crucial for property owners to feel comfortable in their home.
Overall, 38 percent of those surveyed in the Kleve district rated living in their own property as “very good”. The people in Kalkar were particularly satisfied, where almost half of those surveyed gave this the best school grade. In Emmerich, on the other hand, only around a third rated the living as “very good”. Here, another 30 percent gave the grade “satisfactory” or worse. The situation is completely different in Goch, Kleve and Rees, where the proportion of negative reviews is significantly lower.
According to the survey, the good condition of the house or apartment is a decisive reason for satisfaction among 87 percent of Klever district owners. In Goch and Kleve in particular, the owners are convinced of the good condition of their property. Other important factors are the garden (82 percent) as well as the infrastructure and proximity to nature (both 76 percent). The proximity to nature is particularly valued by people from Geldern and Goch, while people from Emmerich and Kleve mention this aspect less frequently.
The age of the owners also influences satisfaction. People over 60 are more likely to value the garden, accessibility and low costs, while younger people are more likely to value the infrastructure, proximity to family and good transport connections.
Of those who rate life in their property as “sufficient” or worse, 71 percent cite the high costs as a reason for their dissatisfaction. The poor condition of the property is cited as the second most common cause. The neighborhood also plays a role for 41 percent of those dissatisfied.
These results may have an impact on the real estate market. Properties that are in good condition, have a garden and are in a good location with good infrastructure and close to nature could be particularly in demand. Cost factors must also be taken into account to satisfy potential buyers.
