Secret Bunker: Unknown offers high-tech hideout for sale
A state-of-the-art, top-secret bunker facility is currently being offered for sale over the Internet without revealing an exact location. The 600 square meter facility is located underground and currently belongs to an unknown private owner who owns over 3000 square meters of land above the facility, which is surrounded by a forest. An AI-driven surveillance system monitors the property and sends information about approaching vehicles and people to a smartphone.
The seller, who describes himself as a “friend,” explains that the bunker facility is completely autonomous and is supplied with electricity, water and fresh air. The facility can accommodate up to 50 people, is equipped with multiple generators, Wi-Fi, a battery system and a variety of sensors to detect intruders. There are also sirens, loudspeakers and a telephone system with three landline numbers.
Originally built for five million German marks, the bunker offers various uses, including supplying a city with fiber optics, being used as a crypto farm, data center or private shelter. The offer is also aimed at so-called “preppers” who prepare for disasters. The location of the bunker facility is said to be somewhere between Paderborn and Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia, with the exact address only being disclosed to the bidders with the highest offer.
