Real estate fair in Kleve: Saving energy made easy!
The Sparkasse Rhein-Maas real estate fair will take place in Kleve on May 24th. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., those interested can find out everything about the topic of energy modernization in the foyer of the Audimax at Rhine-Waal University. The trade fair offers a platform for regional craft companies that will provide information about current developments and technologies.
The central topics of the trade fair include insulation, heating replacement and photovoltaics. During specialist lectures, visitors can gather valuable information about energy-efficient properties and funding opportunities for modernization and housing construction. Further lectures cover the Building Energy Act and efficient new building projects.
Specialist lectures and offers
The specialist lectures promise exciting insights. This includes, among other things, the lecture “Renovate today, benefit tomorrow – your path to energy-efficient property”. In addition, topics on future heating technology are discussed in the context of the Building Energy Act. A special focus is also on funding opportunities that can be taken advantage of in the course of modernization.
Visitors have the opportunity to find out about available properties on site. The “Waldparkviertel” offering in Emmerich is particularly impressive. Around 100 single-family homes and ten apartment buildings are being built here on the site of a former barracks. A competition, guided tours of the tropical house and a variety of street food offerings provide variety. Entry to the fair is free.
Funding at a glance
Another important topic at the trade fair is the promotion of energy-efficient renovations. Federal funding for efficient buildings (BEG) supports these projects and is also secured in 2025. Applications for the BEG individual measures can be submitted online via the BAFA portal, with the remaining heat generation systems also being funded by KfW. Homeowners, homeowner associations and municipalities are eligible to apply. Many measures require the involvement of an energy efficiency expert who creates a technical project description and accompanies the implementation.
Special features such as the income bonus, which will be introduced from July 16, 2024, ensure that low-income households can also benefit from these subsidies. Anyone who lives in the flood areas of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria can take advantage of special exemptions, provided this is confirmed by the municipality.
Further information about the real estate fair and funding opportunities can be found on the Sparkasse Rhein-Maas website www.skrm.de/immo-messe and the BAFA under www.bafa.de available.
