Real estate auction in Berlin: dilapidated bungalows and half a lake!
On June 27, 2025, a remarkable real estate auction took place in Berlin by Deutsche Immobilienauktionen AG. A total of 62 properties from nine federal states were auctioned. How maz-online.de reported that numerous bidders streamed into the magnificent hall of the Grand Hotel Esplanade, including young couples, hunting tenants and company representatives.
One particularly sought-after property was a corner property in Falkensee that has a dilapidated bungalow built on it. This property achieved a sales price of 402,000 euros, well above the reserve price of 170,000 euros. In addition to this highlight, the offer included a variety of residential and allotment gardens, houses, castles, church grounds, bungalow properties and even a former border tower.
Diverse real estate offering
The auctioned objects also included two weekend properties from Rangsdorf. The first property on Teutonenring, 967 square meters in size and equipped with a bungalow, found a new owner for 162,000 euros (minimum bid: 135,000 euros). However, the second recreational property on Jasminweg remained unsold due to an existing lease.
Particular focus was on the sale of a halved ring lake in Zeesen, which was auctioned for 26,000 euros, while a 61,000 square meter area of the former Progress factory in Zeesen also found new owners. A 1.7 hectare forest in Luckau changed hands for 10,000 euros (minimum bid: 3,500 euros).
Shopping and other options
After intensive bidding, a couple from Mittenwalde secured a 2,500 square meter property that was previously used as an LPG filling station. The buyers explained that they needed space for their family and company. In addition, property 41, a 7,500 square meter property at the Ludwigsfelde Industrial Park, was removed from the auction because the owner withdrew his bid to sell it.
Buyers who did not find what they were looking for at the auction have the opportunity to purchase properties that were not auctioned at the minimum bid two weeks after the auction. Further information on foreclosures in Brandenburg is available here immobilienscout24.de available.
