Rent trends

The highest rent increase in the last twelve months was registered in Essen with 9.91 euros/m² (+9.02%), followed by Bochum with 9.50 euros/m² (+7.93%) and Wuppertal with 9.22 euros/m² (+7.00%). Despite generalized price increases, rental prices in Cologne, Berlin and Munich have fallen significantly in some cases, with a decline of between 2.71% and 6.27% compared to the previous year.
