The Quadrill Tower in Linz, one of the most ambitious construction projects in Austria, is nearing completion. Construction of the tower began in February 2021, and after four and a half years of intensive construction work, the completion of the largest high-rise building outside of Vienna is now within reach. The tower reaches a height of 109 meters, making it the tallest hotel and office building in Austria outside the federal capital. The building facade made of glass elements was recently completed, which represents an important milestone in the realization of the major project. The development is being carried out by the Bodner Group on a building site owned by the city of Linz.

The project is not only an architectural highlight, but also aims to create a modern working, living and living space. The Quadrill Tower's mix of uses includes comprehensive offerings that enrich the urban space. A total of 3,000 m² of retail space is planned, of which 1,000 m² is reserved for catering. In addition, 18,000 m² of office space and 8,400 m² of living space will be created to ensure a high quality of life.

Completion of the facade and further developments

The completion of the glass element façade at the end of August 2023 marked the start of the final construction phase. These advances were made by OTS documented in detail and point out the extensive possibilities that the Quadrill Tower will offer.

The ARCOTEL Tabakfabrik, the hotel integrated into the tower, is scheduled to open in 2026. The hotel will offer 189 modern rooms and suites, as well as restaurants, bars, a seminar area and a fitness area. The office space will be located on the upper floors - from the 10th to the 25th floor - and offer an impressive view over Linz.

Additional offers in the area of ​​the Quadrill Tower

In addition to the participation of the Quadrill Tower, the surrounding real estate project will also have interesting offers. A new Billa branch is planned in the VIRGINA building on Untere Donaulände, while the Brau Union Campus will occupy the top four floors of the same building. In addition, Sparkasse OÖ is opening a branch on the ground floor of the BOSTON building, which will serve customer needs in an area of ​​560 m².

In the BOSTON building, the JURA Store for high-quality fully automatic coffee machines and an Anytimefitness Club, which will offer services on an area of ​​900 m², also stand out as attractive new buildings. The gastronomic landscape is also being enriched by new offerings such as the Honeder Naturbakery in the MEMPHIS building with an innovative concept and the Miyako Ramen restaurant in the same building.
