Takeover of the VfB Fichte clubhouse in Bielefeld: social use planned as a daycare center

According to a report by www.nw.de, the wish of VfB Fichte and its chairman Mike Arendt to find a new tenant for the clubhouse in the middle of the forest came true in the new year. Now the former Fichteheim forest restaurant in Sennestadt is being converted into a daycare center and is scheduled to open in the summer.

The property offers many advantages, such as a spacious area, a quiet location, good accessibility, twelve parking spaces right in front of the door and plenty of space around it. Originally it was a clubhouse, later also a restaurant and accommodation. Among other things, unaccompanied young refugees and young people from broken families lived here.

The building is now to be used as a forest kindergarten by a public provider. The association sought a long-term lease and reached an agreement with the new tenant. The renovation of the building is imminent, although details such as the layout of the rooms and the renovation of the infrastructure are still open. The goal is long-term use of at least ten years.

The conversion of the former forest restaurant into a daycare center may have an impact on the real estate market. Converting it to a social or educational facility could affect the value of the property. Long-term use as a daycare center could also increase demand for similar properties in the area.

The cooperation between the association and the new tenant could also create positive impulses in the local community and economy. The property, as an important part of the club's life, is now becoming a place for the promotion of children and integration into society. The renovation and conversion could also commission local construction and craft companies and thus stimulate the regional economy.
