The villa owner Burkhart Ceppa has won the legal dispute, which could lead to the possible demolition of the neighboring house. Despite his victory, he doesn't want to be responsible for the demolition and has made an offer to the losing developer. Ceppa offers to help remove 160 illegally placed steel anchors intended to secure an apartment building. He suggests removing the soil, sawing through the nails and removing the longer section before refilling the soil.
Ceppa is willing to reach an amicable settlement by sacrificing his old trees to secure the slope and thus the neighboring house. He states that the stubs of the pegs should be enough to ensure safety. The company Perfecthaus GmbH has not yet commented on Ceppa's offer. Ceppa intends to create a “center for democracy” in the empty villa where citizens can learn to defend themselves against local manipulation and arbitrary authority. Despite being offered compensation of 290,000 euros, he rejected it and now plans to continue his fight for more democracy.
