Future of Wessing Home Company: Outlet at the Oberbrügge location?

The Schott clearance professionals have taken over the Wessing Home Company building in Oberbrügge and could thus keep the location alive for the furniture trade. There is a possibility that an outlet will shape the future character of the location. However, the final use of the entire property has not yet been determined.

Marvin Schott from the Schott clearance professionals took over the building on Heerstrasse after the Wessing Home Company, formerly Natural Living, was dissolved. The inventory clearance continues, with additional merchandise being sold. The regulations for sales are open on weekdays from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is a possibility that the location will be retained for furniture trading, as the Schotts are local and their main business is clearance sales. The area at the former Wessing location offers enough space for promotional goods, returns and even textiles. The decision as to whether the entire property will be used or whether it will be divided and rented out is still pending as it is still in the discovery phase.

The city of Halver would like to clarify what is possible at the location and what is not, especially with regard to retail. At a recent planning committee meeting, the area was discussed with a view to initiating a development plan. This plan is intended to ensure that the urban development goals and the planning legal framework are taken into account in order to ensure orderly urban development and to protect the city center.
