Alperia AG approves 2023 annual financial statements and announces green bond issue
The Supervisory Board of Alperia AG approved the company's annual financial statements and the consolidated financial statements of the Alperia Group for 2023. The net profit of Alperia AG amounted to approximately 39.6 million euros. The Supervisory Board agreed to the Executive Board's proposal and suggested distributing 34 million euros as a dividend to the shareholders, allocating approximately 2 million euros to the statutory reserve and carrying the remaining amount forward. In addition, the issuance of a bond for private investors in Italy was approved.
The issuance of a new green bond of between one hundred and two hundred and fifty million euros has been announced. The bond is intended for qualified Italian and foreign investors as well as the general public. The bonds have a term of five years and a fixed interest rate of at least 4.5% per year. This move aims to strengthen Alperia's relationship with the area of activity and offer the population the opportunity to invest in green bonds that support the group's sustainability strategy.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Maurizio Peluso expressed satisfaction with Alperia's results in the 2023 financial year. Despite global challenges and changes in the energy sector, the leading position in the field of green energy was maintained. Overall, a record amount was generated in South Tyrol, which was expressed in the form of taxes, investments, employee compensation and support for social initiatives. The dividends of 34 million euros are an important contribution to the regional economy.
