Investors are withdrawing: Euro STOXX 50 falls by 1.45 percent
On Tuesday afternoon, investors in Europe retreated, causing the Euro STOXX 50 to fall 1.45 percent to 4,912.07 points. The total value of the values contained in the index amounts to 4.276 trillion euros. At the start of the trading day, the index recorded a loss of 0.448 percent at 4,962.15 points, after standing at 4,984.48 points the previous day. The daily low was 4,904.16 points, while the daily high reached 4,962.15 points.
The Euro STOXX 50 has shown volatile developments in recent months. One month ago the index was at 4,986.02 points, three months ago at 4,446.51 points and a year ago at 4,390.75 points. Since the beginning of 2024, the index has recorded an increase of 8.85 percent, with the annual high being 5,121.71 points and the annual low being 4,380.97 points.
There were winners and losers in the Euro STOXX 50. The winners include SAP SE, Ferrari, Deutsche Telekom, Enel and adidas, while the losers include Stellantis, BMW, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mercedes-Benz Group and Volkswagen vz. Deutsche Telekom shares currently have the largest trading volume, while LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has the largest market capitalization in the index.
Fundamentals of the Euro STOXX 50 stocks show a variety of information.
