Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Mai Xuan Liem has approved the construction zone plan of Luu Binh Industrial Park. This decision, registered under number 1476/QD-UBND, highlights the importance of the project for regional development. The industrial park will be built on an area of approximately 470 hectares in Quang Xuong District, covering the municipalities of Quang Binh, Quang Luu, Quang Loc and Quang Nhan. The approval of the plan represents a crucial step towards attracting investment and promoting the socio-economic development of the region.
The boundaries of the industrial park are clearly defined: to the north it borders the municipality of Quang Nhan, to the south it borders the municipality of Tien Trang, to the east it borders the Bac Canal and existing residential areas, while the west borders the Cong Truc industrial zone and a planned tourist area. The aim of the project is to create a high-tech industrial park focused on the assembly of electronic components, telecommunications and information technology.
Structure and organized planning
The planned industrial park is expected to create around 29,000 jobs and the planned land distribution covers a total of 443.77 hectares for the industrial park. This area is used as follows:

In addition, an area of approximately 51.86 hectares is planned outside the industrial park, which includes residential areas and infrastructural facilities. The industrial park is divided into three phases:
- Phase 1: 161,30 Hektar
- Phase 2: 140,57 Hektar
- Phase 3: 141,90 Hektar
Flexible layout of factories is also being considered to attract large companies. The technical infrastructure facilities, such as power plants and sewage treatment plants, will be located in the southwest of the industrial park, while green spaces in the form of sports areas and gardens are planned to improve the surrounding area.
Technical infrastructure requirements
The approved plan specifies the necessary contents of technical infrastructure planning, which includes tasks such as leveling, stormwater drainage, traffic, water supply, electricity, telecommunications, sanitation and environmental sanitation. The provincial People's Committee assigned the Quang Xuong District People's Committee to complete and publish the relevant documents, while the dossiers will be handed over to relevant authorities for storage and implementation.
The administration of Nghi Sơn Economic Center will be entrusted with managing the investment procedures. This shows the provincial government's commitment to improving infrastructure and supporting economic development in Quang Xuong and Thanh Hóa. The ongoing developments in this region promise to further strengthen the economy and create sustainable jobs.
