Lenzing suspends dividend policy: Board of Directors decides on measure
The board of the fiber manufacturer Lenzing has decided to suspend the existing dividend policy of at least 4.50 euros per share indefinitely. This decision was announced in a broadcast. Despite a loss of almost 600 million euros on sales of 2.5 billion euros in 2023, the company expects higher earnings before taxes, interest, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) for the 2024 financial year compared to the previous year. Lenzing recently had to record special depreciation totaling 465 million euros. The last dividend was paid in 2022. B&C Holding is the majority owner of Lenzing.
