Porsche SE issues 1.6 billion euros bond

Porsche Automobil Holding SE recently successfully placed a bond worth 1.6 billion euros. This bond consists of two tranches with maturities until September 2029 and September 2032. The placement was several times oversubscribed, indicating strong demand. The holding company, which holds the majority of votes in Volkswagen, plans to use the proceeds to repay some of its financial liabilities early and to build up strategic liquidity for potential investment acquisitions.

CFO Johannes Lattwein stated that Porsche SE was able to obtain very competitive conditions due to high demand. This strengthens the financing profile and provides greater scope for investments in the portfolio area. The bond consists of a five-year tranche of 750 million euros with a coupon of 3.750 percent and an eight-year tranche of 850 million euros with a coupon of 4.125 percent.

The Porsche share on the XETRA exchange temporarily recorded a minimal change of 0.04 percent to 51.36 euros. This placement of the billion-dollar bond shows investors' trust in Porsche and strengthens the company's financial foundation for future strategic steps.
