Last Saturday there was a double celebration: the hotel celebrated its 50th anniversary, while at the same time the 95th birthday of founder Roman Wilfinger Sr. was celebrated. The celebration attracted numerous guests and offered a varied program that appropriately honored the hotel's long success story. Roman Wilfinger Sr. is described as a pioneer in the health industry who laid the foundation for the hotel in the 1970s and reinforced the values ​​of natural health and regional organic products.

With their hotel offerings, the Wilfinger family not only wants to offer hospitality, but also focus on well-being and health. Guests appreciate the combination of natural medicine, hospitality and the amenities of a hotel. Health care primarily includes a vegetarian diet and herbal remedies according to Hildegard von Bingen. Managing director Roman M. Wilfinger emphasizes that extensive investments have been made in the well-being of guests in recent months.

Recent changes include a new wellness area equipped with an indoor swimming pool powered by Grander water. In addition, the new whirlpool offers thermal water and a panoramic sun terrace, allowing guests additional relaxation. In addition to the wellness area, the guest rooms have also been modernized and equipped with natural materials and regional flair to ensure a high level of living comfort.

As part of the anniversary, the Wilfinger family not only received a certificate from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce for 50 years of existence, but also a happy surprise for Roman Wilfinger Sr.: a cake, a short film honoring his life and work, and a souvenir book. The celebration was accompanied musically by entertainer Johannes Lafer and ended with a full gala dinner that thrilled the guests.
