Experience the Ausserferner Family Fair in September 2025: networking between small businesses and families at an experience festival.

The eventful family fair Die Familienzeit” opens in September!

In preparation for the upcoming Ausserferner family fair “Die Familienzeit”, which will take place on September 20th and 21st, 2025 in the festival tent in Weißenbach, the initiators Layla Herb and Teresa Amann are working with a lot of commitment. The fair aims to bring clubs, small businesses and families together and make the region's diversity visible. Layla Herb, family consultant and alpaca breeder, and Teresa Amann, Hyla sales partner, bring personal experiences, especially their challenges as mothers of two children, to create an event that is intended to strengthen families and enliven the club landscape.

The trade fair will be an experience festival with various hands-on stations, presentations and workshops. The participants include sports clubs, music groups, art and cultural initiatives as well as scouts, fire departments and rescue services. An extensive supporting program offers workshops and lectures on topics such as breastfeeding, carrying and baby massage. Activities such as pony rides, face painting and creative craft stations are on the agenda for younger visitors. The physical well-being is also taken care of and a raffle with prizes from the region rounds off the offer.

Future prospects and social responsibility

The income from this trade fair is not only intended for organizational costs; At least 50% of the income and all voluntary donations directly benefit families in the Ausserfern region. Admission to the event is free, which encourages participation by all families. Exhibitors and associations can register online until July 30, 2025, with special conditions being offered for non-profit organizations.

In the context of a similar event, the question of supporting local small businesses arises. The famFAIR trade fair pursues a comparable goal by presenting regional small businesses and promoting the message “From the region for the region”. This event offers a wide range of services, creative tastings and workshops, all for families at different stages of life, from expectant mothers to children of all ages. In doing so, it supports the local diversity and strength of the region and highlights creative, inspiring and high-quality products.

Together, such events could help to establish a new tradition in the Ausserfern region that promotes togetherness and caring for one another and puts families at the center.
