Bitcoin price in the red: Current developments in cryptocurrencies
The Bitcoin halving is over and the crypto markets are showing mixed reactions. Currently, Bitcoin is down 0.80 percent to $63,446.66 compared to the previous day. Bitcoin Cash is also down -1.35 percent at $471.96, while Ethereum is down -0.98 percent at $3,035.61.
On the positive side, the Litecoin price rose by 1.68 percent to $82.40. Ripple also recorded a 2.74 percent increase to $0.5182. Cardano is up 3.13 percent to $0.4844, Monero is at $117.93 with an increase of 0.72 percent.
IOTA, Verge and Stellar show hardly any changes in their prices. IOTA remains at $0.2269, Verge at $0.0057 and Stellar at $0.1127. NEM is little changed and is at $0.0371. Dash shows a slight decrease of -0.18 percent and is at $29.66. NEO, on the other hand, recorded a loss of -2.36 percent and was trading at $17.92.
