Dynamic electricity tariffs: This allows consumers to save costs and benefit from low exchange prices

According to a report by www.fr.de, consumer advice centers call on people to compare prices and pay attention to the stock market in order to benefit from dynamic electricity tariffs.

Energy prices are rising and many consumers are looking for ways to save costs. Dynamic electricity tariffs could be a solution to find the cheapest electricity. From 2025, all electricity suppliers will be required to offer dynamic tariffs and this could result in potential cost savings. Consumers with heat pumps or wallboxes in particular could benefit from these tariffs. At the same time, dynamic tariffs could contribute to better utilization of the electricity networks.

A provider called “Rabot Charge” published its exchange electricity report in a press release, which shows that exchange-based dynamic electricity prices offer savings potential.

According to the report, the average electricity price in September was 10.07 cents per kilowatt hour. However, existing customers paid an average of 39.6 ct/kWh and new customers 30.4 ct/kWh.

The consumer advice center recommends comparing electricity prices and paying attention to the stock exchange to find the lowest price. Customers with dynamic tariffs could shift their electricity consumption to plannable periods of low prices and thus save costs.

This approach could lead to consumers benefiting from cheaper electricity and ultimately help reduce the burden on the population. However, it remains to be seen how the introduction of dynamic tariffs will affect the market and consumers.
