The introduction of this advisory service is an important step in exploiting the enormous potential for reducing CO2 emissions in existing buildings. However, the many options and information available to citizens are often overwhelming. It is therefore very important to have independent experts as contacts.
Personal advice takes place after prior registration and is barrier-free. It is essential to make an appointment on the free service number 0800/809 802 400. 30 minutes are allocated for each consultation. It is recommended to bring meaningful documents about the house or apartment with you.
The Lower Saxony Consumer Center has over 650 energy advisors at more than 900 locations throughout the country. Every year, over 145,000 households receive independent and neutral advice on topics such as energy saving, thermal insulation, modern heating technology and renewable energies.
The municipality of Lilienthal's initiative is a positive development as it offers citizens the opportunity to benefit from expert support and improve their energy efficiency. This can lead to a reduction in energy costs and at the same time contribute to climate protection.
