Vodafone customers can register for a class action lawsuit
A class action lawsuit against Vodafone's price increases has made progress. The Federal Office of Justice has publicly announced the proceedings and affected customers now have the opportunity to enter their name in the lawsuit register. This lawsuit, which was filed by the Federal Association of Consumer Organizations (vzbv) last fall, concerns the Higher Regional Court (OLG) Hamm and is based on a new federal law that gives consumers more rights. If the lawsuit is successful, Vodafone customers could receive a refund directly without having to go to court again. This is a significant step for consumers to enforce their rights regarding price increases.
