Heat pumps and alternatives: Free online seminar provides information
The North Rhine-Westphalia Consumer Center and the Borken Climate District will be hosting a free online seminar on April 18th entitled “New heating – heat pump and its alternatives”. An energy consultant will explain the technical basics of heat pumps as well as other possible heating technologies and their possible uses. Topics such as costs, funding and subsequent exchange are also covered. The online lecture takes place regularly every third Thursday of the month.
The access data for the online seminar can be found on the website of the NRW Consumer Center (www.verbraucherzentrale.nrw/e-seminare). Further information about other events organized by the NRW Consumer Center can also be found there. In 2024, the Borken climate district, together with the NRW consumer advice center, will offer various online lectures on the topics of energy saving, funding and adaptation to climate change. Some of these take place monthly and cover topics such as photovoltaics, heating replacement, heat protection and heavy rain prevention.
The Borken district is also a member of the nationwide “altbauneu” network, which provides information about energy-efficient building renovations. Further information is available on the website www.alt-bau-neu.de/kreis-borken. The consumer advice center's energy advice is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. If you have any questions, you can contact the press office at 02861/681-2429.
