Allianz overtakes Axa: new leader in building insurance!
The 2025 Vema broker survey shows Allianz as a leading provider of commercial building insurance. Axa remains the leader in content insurance.
Allianz overtakes Axa: new leader in building insurance!
In the current survey by Vema Versicherungsmakler Genossenschaft e.G. Allianz has overtaken Axa in the commercial building insurance category. This makes Allianz the most used provider among Vema partner brokers. The survey, which included over 4,800 partner companies, resulted in a total of 617 entries for commercial building insurance.
Axa, on the other hand, which was previously at the top, only collected a few votes behind the Alliance. Third in this category was SV Sparkassenversicherung, which received almost one in ten votes. The other places in the ranking include companies such as VKB, R+V, Alte Leipziger, Inter, Signal Iduna, AIG, Concordia. The providers Inter and Concordia are new to the top ten, while Gothaer and Baloise have been eliminated from the list.

In commercial content insurance, Axa remains at the top with one in seven participants choosing the company. The Alte Leipziger follows with a share of a tenth of the votes, while the Alliance inherited almost an eleventh of the votes. Here too, Vema once again conducted an extensive survey in which a total of 721 responses were recorded.
