According to the Interior Ministry, the number of attacks on politicians has increased significantly, with a total of 163 attacks on officeholders and elected officials recorded from January to the end of September 2023. This represents an increase of a good 50 percent compared to the previous year. 120 suspects were identified, which indicates the urgency of the problem.
