On April 25, 2024, Lets GmbH will carry out a clean-up project on the Isar in collaboration with the gymnastics and sports club 1860 Munich, Bayerische Versicherung, Pangea Life and the IsarCleanUp organization. The campaign aims to raise awareness of waste issues. Around 60 participants are expected, including 15 employees from Bayerische Versicherung, 20 employees and players from TSV 1860 Munich and 25 fans. The cooperation with the sports club and the insurance company is part of Lets GmbH's mission to actively involve society in social projects and to give employees the chance to get involved on a voluntary basis.
The clean-up operation starts at 10:00 a.m. and the volunteers are divided into teams that compete against each other in a playful competition. The collected waste is then disposed of properly. The required materials such as garbage bags, tongs and gloves are provided by the IsarCleanUp organization and provided by TSV 1860 Munich on the day of the event. The campaign, which will last around two to three hours, will be moderated by Ludwig Petersen, managing director of Lets GmbH.
The aim of the project is to illustrate the long-term effects of waste and to show participants ways in which they can actively contribute to environmental protection. The initiative by Bayerische Versicherung, Pangea Life and TSV 1860 Munich demonstrates their commitment to society and makes the campaign particularly attractive for volunteers. Ludwig Petersen supports companies in assuming social responsibility as part of their corporate social responsibility. As managing director of Lets GmbH, he offers a platform for corporate volunteering and emphasizes the variety of ways in which companies can get involved in a meaningful way.
