Manuela Moog: New IT director at DEVK – heading into the digital future!

Manuela Moog will become the new IT director of DEVK Versicherungen, a step that comes as part of a comprehensive restructuring of the company. Her appointment is based on a resolution by the supervisory boards of the DEVK insurance associations. Moog brings with him a distinguished professional career rich in experience in the IT sector of the insurance industry. Career path and expertise

Moog, who grew up in Lower Saxony, began her career in 1992 as a mathematical and technical assistant at Colonia Insurance in Cologne. Her professional journey took her to AXA for over 25 years, where she worked in various management and project management roles and ultimately took on the position of division manager. In this role, she was responsible, among other things, for the reorganization of IT at four locations with over 700 employees.

Moog later moved to Zurich Insurance Group in 2018, where she worked as head of IT before joining Basler Versicherungen Deutschland in 2020. Initially working as program manager for digitalization, she was appointed IT director in 2022. There, as Chief Information Officer, she led 300 employees and was responsible for the company's entire IT landscape. In addition, she also headed the internal services department and established modern work environments until May 2024.
