New board member at WGV: Anja Emde will take over from July 2025!

On July 1, 2025, Anja Emde will be a new board member of Württembergische Gemeinde-Versicherung a.G. (WGV), WGV-Versicherung AG and WGV-Lebensversicherung AG. She will succeed Ralf Feiffer, who will retire on June 30, 2025. Emde brings with her extensive experience from her previous role as Human Resources Department Director and General Representative in the WGV.

In her new position, Emde will be responsible, among other things, for the claims departments for private and municipal customers as well as for contract service and sales channels in the municipal sector. She also heads product management for municipal customers. Other key tasks include the areas of human resources, contracts and performance in life insurance, money laundering prevention and data protection. Emde is also appointed as the responsible board member in accordance with Section 4 of the GwG and as the spin-off officer.

Anja Emde's professional career at WGV is characterized by significant strategic developments. She has played a key role in the further development of the human resources department, with aspects such as corporate culture, employee retention and personnel planning being of central importance. Her extensive expertise is viewed as a valuable asset to the Board, particularly in times of changing market conditions.
