The maximum possible trip duration, the crew size and the insurance sum have been significantly increased in order to also cover longer trips and complex crew constellations. The individual insurance components of the previous Pantaenius charter packages remain, but are now also available separately and not just as a combination of several insurance products. The maximum travel duration for all insurance lines is now 60 days, including stays in hotels or other holiday accommodation before or after the charter trip. Up to 16 people can be included in the insurance policy, which is important for longer trips with planned crew changes. In addition, pure cabin charters can now also be insured.

Another innovation is the option to take out insurance flexibly online, even for spontaneous or very short rentals. The deposit can be secured in increments of 500 euros up to a maximum of 20,000 euros. The travel cancellation insurance has also been expanded to also insure stays in hotels or other holiday accommodation in connection with the trip. The maximum insured sum for all travel costs is 40,000 euros.

These revisions to Pantaenius' charter insurance offering are a response to the increased demands and diverse ideas people have when it comes to sailing and motorboating. With the new charter insurance, the company now offers a comprehensive solution for almost all possible constellations, from local day charters to trips lasting several weeks in conjunction with long-distance travel.
